Kelly Hargreaves-Cox is a Success Coach with Pearson Online Academy UK Global. In this post she describes her passion for supporting young learners, explaining how her experience as an art teacher might come in handy… 

 

Why I joined Pearson Online Academy UK Global 

I am interested in innovative and unique work spaces – and Pearson Online Academy UK Global is both of these! I am also an internationally-minded teacher, and enjoy working with students and families from around the world. I am happy that my role at the academy allows me to continue this. 

 

What I’m most looking forward to in the school 

I am a passionate advocate for students with additional needs, and look forward to empowering every young person at the school to achieve their very own version of success.  

 

The challenges I’m excited to overcome at Pearson Online Academy UK Global 

As Pearson Online Academy UK Global is a new school, I am sure there will be some challenges that we will face during this incredibly exciting time. I have worked as an art teacher alongside my roles in learning support, so look forward to bringing a creative approach to problem-solving to the school. I am excited to share my skills with the team, learning from others in order for us all to move forward together.
